Monique Ameyo Constance, M.Ed.

Monique Ameyo Constance, M.Ed. is an artist, critical and creative literacy educator, and socio - political scientist based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of The University of Georgia (B.A. ‘10, international affairs; minor in Spanish) and Texas A&M University (M.Ed. ‘22, curriculum and instruction; urban education). Monique uses this trifecta of her experiences to progress her personal mission of documenting, researching, and writing about the narratives and experiences of Black people. 

Monique is the founder Black Love Project -  which she began in 2014 as her personal quest to understand the dynamics of love within the global Black community. It has since grown into an organization whose mission is to positively impact literacy, document Black stories and storytellers, and preserve the culture and thought of the African Diaspora.


Artistically, Monique works as a freelance filmmaker, with work featured on VH1, the Crown Act Campaign, and for Atlantic Records. She works closely with the Black owned production house, House of the Young, Ent.
